I would just stick to your normal size in general with the Meta Blast. ... I think the Meta Blast has got quite a nice simple feel to it. I had no problems with the upper at all throughout, you know, a lot of testing. ... I think this one has got lots of room towards the end of the toe box. You've got this really nice kind of roomy forefoot. Plenty of room for the toes to splay. And for long haul comfort, this is one that has a really good forefoot volume. Some people might find it a little bit too airy. You do feel like you're swimming a little bit in the shoe. So, if you like it nice and tight, you might want to consider going half a size down. I really quite like it like this. I get good lockdown in the midfoot. Everything back here is nice and comfortable. The heel padding here is ample, holds well, and I had no problem with that overall. So, I really like this. Particularly if you're going to use this shoe for longer time on feet, I think I would go true to size. ... the upper is very comfortable. There's lots of padding on it. The tongue has got a little bit of padding on it. It works out quite nicely um overall. Very comfortable shoe. Stay to your size.”

“starting with the Asics Megablast. Now, this is $225. It is by far the most expensive shoe on this list, but it does have a very very nice foam and a thick fat layer of it indeed. So, you are not going to feel the road. This is a bouncy, firm, punchy ATTPU that feels just as fast as some carbons that I've run in personally. Now, this is a more rigid shoe further being no plate in it. And personally, I do not find it to be the most comfortable shoe due to the upper. So, this shares some of the negative qualities with carbon bladed racing shoes, but it has a smidge more flexibility and has a more tuned foam for training just slightly. But, this is no slouch over the 26.2. Something to watch out for in the Megablast is that the upper is a bit of a train wreck. The toe box is a bit narrow. The tongue is a bit thin. I've had lace bite in it. But, if you could get that tweaked and dialed and set up correctly for your foot, I've also had that not be an issue in this shoe. It's just on balance, I'm not a huge fan of the upper in the Megablast and it is quite expensive for what it is. But, it is one of the fastest shoes on this list.”
