Anta C202 7: building consensus — 6 reviews so far to grant a tier, synthesized so far from 10 creator mentions across 6 channels, freshest review Aug 10, 2026.
The firm grade is withheld until there’s enough independent evidence — enough creators AND at least one volume bar. What’s still short:
Stages A/B/C (extract, synthesize, write) produce the editorial narrative only. No stage A/B/C value is an input to score, tier, verdict or confidence — those come solely from the consensus engine over stored mentions. Per-stage counts live on the `reasoning` block.
The Anta C202 7 is a firm, carbon-plated speed trainer that delivers a stable, rigid ride and strong value e2 80 a4 but its dense foam and stiff plate won e2 80 99t appeal to those who want a soft, energetic super shoe, and early reports of foam deadening suggest durability is worth watching.
This is really a speed workhorse — a full-carbon-plated shoe positioned as a speed trainer rather than a flagship racing super shoe. Reviewers found it excellent for high-speed training: track workouts, hill sprints, and 5K/10K racing. Its rigid, fairly stable platform with an aggressive toe spring makes getting up on your toes easy, with strong forefoot compression and propulsion. That said, the firmer, denser foam and stiffness put some people off and it's not the most energetic or lightest carbon out there — so it rewards runners who like a firm, rigid, snappy ride for shorter, faster efforts rather than plush long runs.

“the DynaFlyte Jaunyan a lot of the time and the C2027 as well”
“The Anty 2027, from the best of my knowledge is 3428. So, it's even lower than the Arrow Razor, but I would say the Arrow Razor feels lower than that.”
“this is from my understanding their entrylevel super shoe. I do believe it is a carbon fiber plate. Um it is, you know, very clearly a race style upper”
“The Anta C202 7 is similar to the Leaning Feidian Challenger 5 in that it is not positioned Anta's lineup as a flagship carbon plated racing shoe. It's actually positioned as a speed trainer, but this has a full carbon fiber plate. It's actually an extra long plate. It's a very rigid shoe with two different layers of Anta's TPEE foam. Um, it is a little firmer than uh current generation of carbons and that might put some people off and the rigidity as well is definitely noticeable, but if you like that sort of thing, it could get along very well with your stride. I found this especially good for high-speed training. So like hill sprints and sprints in general. I get a lot of stability from the slightly denser and more firm foam that allows me to confidently tackle higher speeds. The limitations are that it's really not the most energetic foam and it's also not the lightest carbon on the planet, but that's not what it was designed to do.”
“And the Anty 2027, total banger. Great shoe. Love it.”
“And then against the C2027 that shoe is much much firmer, much more dense, feels closer to like a Boston kind of style shoe”
“Next to the C202 7, very different experience here, firmer, stiffer, more rubbery and punchy in the foam.”
“this is much softer, much more flexible, and much more friendly for daily training than the C2027”
“if I ever accidentally say that this is the C2027 or if I'm talking about the C2027 and refer to that as the Zone 2, it's because they're like practically identical from the outside.”
“I think the most similar at the moment is the C2027 from Anta. Firm, rubbery, resilient rebound, maybe a slightly sharper rocker, roomier fit, no beveling issues when going up into those interval zones. I think it's just a slightly better pick for this kind of ride.”
“I bought the Zone 290. I bought the C2027. I'm going to compare those in a video and I'll tell you all about it.”
“I was disappointed when I ran in the Anta C2027 because the foam when the foot lands, and what it feels like in all three of these shoes, is memory foam.”
“The Anta C2027. That's what uh that's what this feels like underfoot. Uh it's got a softer temper- pedic.”
“Next up, this is the Anta C2027. And this is going to be kind of their entry-level super shoe.”
“it has the same shape as the C2027, which is the daily trainer, though there is a little bit more room in the toe box”
“earlier in the year I tested out Anta's C202 7, and I was really impressed with the feel and performance of that shoe, and you can pick them up here in the UK for only £130. So, pretty much half the price of these.”
“Some C202 7 in new colorways. Anta has quietly tweaked the midsole foam formula on these new releases. I saw comments on my C202 7 video, some runners feeling the foam deadened after around 200km.”
“we've got the Anta C2027, the Rad Mallows”
